DRONE
My team and I designed and built this quad-copter through Boston University's Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Club. I was primarily for the frame design, simulation, and construction.

The Project
We created multiple frame designs and constructed their assemblies in SolidWorks. The goal was to minimize weight while maximizing strength. We used SolidWorks Stress Analysis to weigh these factors.
We attached the motors and the flight controller directly to the frame. We trimmed and soldered plugs onto the motor wires and then wired the electronic speed controllers to the controller and motors. We then used the Cleanflight flight controller software to get the drone ready to take off.
